One of our clients lives within one of many deed-restricted gated communities here in Vero Beach. “Deed restricted” is a fancy way of saying that there is a Homeowners Association (HOA) in that neighborhood that may have something to say about certain changes you want to make to your grounds or the exterior of your structure. In this case, my clients wish to install a swimming pool in the backyard.
After meeting with a pool company and laying out the design for the pool, deck, and screen enclosure, my client was informed that some of the existing sprinklers would need to be removed and a couple of sections of the common fence that borders the neighborhood would need to be removed to allow the pool company access to the yard from a service road behind the property. Our client was directed to the Homeowners Association to arrange both of these tasks when their pool plans were submitted to the HOA Architectural Committee for prior approval.
My client learned that the sprinkler removal could be handled by the same company that maintains the landscaping and irrigation system throughout the complex, but they would need to arrange for the removal of the fence sections on their own.
That is where Garrett Property Management comes in. No landscaping job is too big or small for Garrett Property Management and Landscaping Services so we were happy to get the call to take care of this item for our client. Here are a few pictures that were taken during the process.
Two vinyl fence panels and one fence post were removed in such a way that they could be re-installed after the pool is in. The fence panels were carefully hoisted up and placed to the side, out of the way of the construction project.
This is just one of many little tasks that your Home Owners Association may mandate but they can not actually perform for you. This is where Garrett Property Management can come into play. Give us a call for any landscape services including land contouring, grading, planter beds, fence repairs and more.
UPDATE: Once the Garrett Property Management crew removed the fencing and opened up access. The pool contractor was able to do their magic. Here is a small gallery of the same yard with the new swimming pool and enclosure installed.
